A payment processor is a 3rd party vendor who handles payment processing.  These payment processors may have support for different kinds of payment methods including Credit Card and ECheck.  They may allow restricting payment processing to specific types of Credit Cards.

Note:  Currently supported payment processors include:
-  Authorize.Net (www.authorize.net)
-  Network Merchant (www.nmi.com)
-  PaySimple (https://paysimple.com)
-  Payment Systems Worldwide (https://www.gopsw.com/)
-  Moneris (www.moneris.com).

For your selected payment processor, please review Configuring Payment Configuration to add a new payment configuration.

Note:  Moneris is a Canadian payment processor.
Note:  Many of our schools use Diamond Mind (diamondmindinc.com) which is a reseller for Authorize.Net and Network Merchant.
Note:  Payment processors have options controlling checks duplicate payment submission.  Make sure this is configured with an appropriate time limit.  Example: Suppose your (Re) Enrollment Contract has a flat deposit amount of $200, and your processor checks for duplicate payments within a 10-minute window.  If the parent submits a (Re) Enrollment Contract for their second student in 2 minutes, the deposit payment is rejected as a duplicate payment.
