Importing New Records is the process of adding new data into PCR Educator using a formatted import file. The Import role is required. Users must also have the appropriate module-level role for the data being imported. See Roles Dictionary for more information.

- Navigate to Home > Import and select the desired import screen.
- Click Create Template. Select the Separator (delimiter) first. Note: Excel uses tab delimiter by default.
- Open the downloaded file in spreadsheet software (Excel or equivalent).
- Populate the file and save it as Text (Tab delimited) or CSV (comma delimited).
- Click Import and select the file.
- Review the import results:
    - Errors are noted in the Error column.
    - Records with errors will not be imported.
    - Click Confirm to complete the import.
